New data-handling capabilities in FastReport VCL Ultimate
With the 2026.1 release, the Ultimate VCL subscription has become even more valuable. All license owners now receive the new FastGrid library and the ability to create reports using FastReport Online Designer.
FastGrid is a universal tool for data visualization, editing and structuring in VCL and Lazarus. It enables developers to efficiently work with local and server data, speeding up the development of business applications.
FastGrid offers a wide range of features: built-in tools for filtering, sorting and structuring data, support for connecting to various data sources (FireDAC, ADO, BDE, DBX, IBX, FIBPlus, Oracle, etc.) through the standard TDataSource component, WYSIWYG interface configuration, as well as built-in editors for handling different data types (text, numbers, graphics, etc.).
This library is available as a CTP (Community Technical Preview) and will be improved with every upcoming release.
FastReport Online Designer is a visual template and report designer that runs directly in your browser. All you need is to connect your data, place it on the template page, configure the layout and save the final document. The designer can run on Android, iOS or Windows in any modern browser — from desktop, tablet, etc.
