More than just reports
Don’t limit yourself to standard reporting. Publisher is a whole platform for creating, storing, sending, and managing documents. Do you want to generate contracts, acts, invoices? Do it from templates, automatically, with the necessary logic and data. And then send it by email or save it to a folder.
Create interactive templates with parameters. For example, set a specific period: from June 1 to June 30—and get the report in just a couple of seconds. Parameters work both through the interface and via API.
More possibilities in reports
Reports react to user actions. Group, sort, filter data right in preview mode. Add buttons, transitions, links, and manage the behavior of the document without regeneration. You can embed interactive OSM maps with support for layers, highlighting data in color, etc., into reports.
In addition, you can add barcodes of various types to the report, including QR code, Code128, EAN13 and QR. But sometimes simply displaying data is not enough. For more complex calculations, add scripts in C# or VB .NET for logic, conditions, loops. With the help of scripts, you can, for example, add values by condition, implement complex display logic, change the style or structure of the report “on the fly.”
Report designer directly in the browser
The online report designer allows you to create, edit, and view reports from any device — be it Android, iOS, Windows, computer, tablet, communicator, game console, or TV. The key to this is a touch-oriented design, which makes working with the designer as comfortable as possible on any device with a modern browser.
The designer interface is intuitive, reminiscent of the office application interface familiar to businesses and users, with support for hotkeys.
Exports to convenient formats
FastReport Publisher provides a wide range of options for exporting reports to popular formats, including PDF, RTF, XLSX, DOCX, TXT, CSV, PowerPoint, HTML, MHT, XPS, JPEG, BMP, PNG, Open Document Format (ODT, ODS, ODP), XAML, Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), DBF, PPML and others. Suitable for both printing and electronic document management.
In addition, the finished document can be sent immediately by email, FTP, Webhook, S3. We regularly add integrations with other services in accordance with customer requirements.
Supports any programming language

Powerful engine under the hood
What makes Publisher such a powerful tool in business? Its core is the FastReport .NET engine. It provides flexibility, speed, and ease of creating reports for both beginners and developers. Templates created in the FastReport .NET designer can be saved directly to the Publisher, opened, and edited. Everything is synchronized. Templates are saved in *.frx, reports in *.fpx.
Publisher partially supports the FastReport VCL format. You can save and download reports, as well as use shared folders. Templates are saved in *.fr3, reports in *.fp3.
Convenient user and administrator panels
In the user panel, you can work with data sources, templates, and documents without a programmer. Select a data source, connect it to the template— and create a report in the required format to send to the customer.
Management, audit, security — everything is quickly accessible from the administrator panel. Monitor user actions, view change history, manage workspace settings. Visualization of activity in graphs and charts makes analysis convenient even for an untrained specialist.
Document storage and workspaces
You can store templates, reports, and finished documents in a single space with flexible access control settings. The structure is similar to a regular file system in popular OSs, but adapted for business processes: configure access rights, build new documents, and print them.
Organize activities by department, branch, or project. Each workspace is an isolated environment: its own documents, its own users, its own settings. If necessary, you can increase the number of workspaces and users at your request.
User groups
You can unite users of the service into groups, as well as grant them different access rights to workspace resources. Create teams of administrators, managers, designers, developers. By default, your workspace does not have groups.
Or use pre-installed groups (owner, user, anonymous). The user only has access to what they are allowed. Need to share a report with an external client without registration? It is enough to configure anonymous access. The creation of additional groups is available in FastReport Corporate Server.
