Templates created in the FastReport .NET Designer can be saved directly into Publisher, opened, and edited seamlessly. Templates are saved as *.frx, reports as *.fpx.
Publisher also partially supports the FastReport VCL format: you can upload, store, and share reports in shared folders. Templates are saved as *.fr3, reports as *.fp3.
The user panel makes it easy to work with data sources, templates, and documents - without coding. Simply select a data source, connect it to a template, and generate the required report.
The administrator panel provides full control over management, audit, and security. Track user actions, view history, and configure workspace settings. Activity visualization with charts and graphs makes analysis simple, even for non-specialists.
Store templates, reports, and prepared documents in one place with flexible access control. The structure resembles a standard file system but is adapted for business workflows: configure permissions, generate new documents, and print them.
Organize by department, branch, or project. Each workspace is isolated - with its documents, users, and settings. Workspaces and user numbers can be scaled as needed.
Combine users into groups and assign access rights to workspace resources. Create teams of administrators, managers, designers, and developers. By default, your workspace does not have groups.
Or use pre-installed groups, including owner, user, and anonymous. Each user only has access to what they are allowed. Anonymous access allows sharing reports with external clients without requiring registration. Additional groups are available in FastReport Corporate Server.
