Thanks to the built-in Online Designer, even users without programming skills can create reports.
A repository with flexible access rights and a comprehensive administrator panel makes the product convenient for teamwork. The solution is deployed on the client’s premises and does not require Internet access. More than just reports
Publisher is more than a reporting tool - it’s a complete platform for creating, storing, distributing, and managing documents. Need to generate contracts, statements, and invoices? Do it automatically from templates with the required logic and data. Then send them by email or save to a folder.
Create interactive templates with parameters. For example, set a specific period (June 1 to June 30) and get the report in seconds. Parameters work both through the interface and the API.
Advanced reporting features
Reports respond to user actions: group, sort, and filter data directly in preview mode. Add buttons, links, and navigation without regenerating the document. Embed interactive OSM maps with layers, color highlighting, and more.
You can also add barcodes of various types, including QR code, Code128, EAN13, and Swiss QR. When data display alone isn’t enough, add scripts in C# or VB .NET for conditions, loops, and advanced logic. Scripts let you apply conditional formatting, implement complex display rules, or modify report structure “on the fly.”
Report designer in the browser
The Online Designer lets you create, edit, and view reports from any device - Android, iOS, Windows, computer, tablet, communicator, game console, or TV. Its touch-oriented design makes working comfortable on any modern browser-enabled device.
The interface is intuitive and familiar, resembling standard office applications, with full hotkey support.
Export to popular formats
FastReport Publisher offers a wide range of export formats, including PDF, RTF, XLSX, DOCX, TXT, CSV, PowerPoint, HTML, MHT, XPS, JPEG, BMP, PNG, OpenDocument (ODT, ODS, ODP), XAML, SVG, DBF, PPML, and more. Perfect for both printing and electronic document management.
Reports can be sent directly by email, FTP, Webhook, or S3. We regularly expand integrations based on customer requests.
Works with any programming language
Every action performed in the visual interface is also available as an API call. Need to automate document creation from your system? Use the SDK (C#, Python, PHP, Go, Java, etc.) or REST API to integrate Publisher with your CRM, CMS, or ERP.

Powerful engine under the hood
What makes Publisher such a powerful tool for business? At its core is the FastReport .NET engine, providing flexibility, speed, and simplicity for both beginners and developers. Templates created in the FastReport .NET Designer can be saved directly into Publisher, opened, and edited seamlessly. Templates are saved as *.frx, reports as *.fpx.
Publisher also partially supports the FastReport VCL format: you can upload, store, and share reports in shared folders. Templates are saved as *.fr3, reports as *.fp3.
User and administrator panels
The user panel makes it easy to work with data sources, templates, and documents - without coding. Simply select a data source, connect it to a template, and generate the required report.
The administrator panel provides full control over management, audit, and security. Track user actions, view history, and configure workspace settings. Activity visualization with charts and graphs makes analysis simple, even for non-specialists.
Document storage and workspaces
Store templates, reports, and prepared documents in one place with flexible access control. The structure resembles a standard file system but is adapted for business workflows: configure permissions, generate new documents, and print them.
Organize by department, branch, or project. Each workspace is isolated - with its documents, users, and settings. Workspaces and user numbers can be scaled as needed.
User groups
Combine users into groups and assign access rights to workspace resources. Create teams of administrators, managers, designers, and developers. By default, your workspace does not have groups.
Or use pre-installed groups, including owner, user, and anonymous. Each user only has access to what they are allowed. Anonymous access allows sharing reports with external clients without requiring registration. Additional groups are available in FastReport Corporate Server.
