I have installed FastReport VCl 5 and Crystal Reports XI R2 and trying to start the RptToFr3.exe...
I receive this error message:

    RptToFr3 tool is require Crystal Reports 8.0. It included in Visual Studio 2005.

    I Have crystal reports 8.5 installed (other machine), i try run there but same error.

    Do i need the version from visual studio 2005?

    Hello Sandro,

    i'd try to convert from Crystal Report 8.5 to fr3, where can i find rpttofr3.exe?
    Please provide me with some reference,

    Hello,

    I have the same problem with the converters.
    I can run FrxToFr3.exe and RdlToFr3.exe but RptToFr3.exe just tries to start and generates directly an error.
    I have a lot of Crystal Reports files and i have to test the ability to convert Crystal Reports files before using Fast Reports instead of Crystal Reports.
    Do we need an other files to run RptToFr3.exe?

    - FastReport.Editor.dll
    - FastReport.RPTImportPlugin.dll

    I think it's "OLEG" that created this program b'cause I found this hardcoded line in the exe-file:
    "C:\Users\OLEG\Documents\Projects\Converters\RptToFr3\obj\Release\RptToFr3.pdb"
    I don't know if that can cause any problem as this address don't exist in my computer (hopefully [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ) I looking forward to get some help and to solve this problem. The error message doesn't tell me which file is missing Regards /Synon[/img]

    Hi,

    I'm interested to in RptToFr3.exe and don't work for me too. Can be shared the source code of RtpToFr3??? So we can compile it with the needed tools.

    Did anyone manage to get the RTPToFR3.exe working - have a lot of crystal reports to convert and anything to make it easier would be great
